This was my second trip to Maasai Mara, this time I decided to go in the month of March as the landscape and eco-system is totally different from the "Great Migration" season. After the onset of the pre-monsoon and a few showers the landscape is completely transformed and the terrain looks like a vast unending green carpet. While one definitely misses the rush of the Wildebeests, Zebras and other antelopes, yet here is something unique about this time of the year. It's serene, calm and it's getting ready for the flurry of activity which will begin by June.
